Edgecombe & Coplin Wealth Strategies LLC • USA Financial Securities Corp.
Our firm has several methods for prospecting. We receive high marks from the majority of our clients, and this leads to a good number of organic referrals. We also have a robust network of third-party professionals—cross referrals are common in any direction among all of our partners. We work closely with attorneys; CPAs; business consultants; health-benefits, long-term-care, and pension professionals; and elder-care resources.
We work closely with our broker-dealer, USA Financial Securities Corp., in many ways, including marketing efforts. This includesoccasional content for our seminar program, economic-trend reports that can be accessed on our website or obtained via free subscription, and other valuable resources for clients.
USA Financial also has an excellent radio co-op program. Each week, the USA Financial Radio Show reaches listeners across the country, providing up-to-date guidance and discussion on a number of financial-planning issues.
We are able to personalize short vignettes for our firm on the program, which airs in the Seattle–Tacoma area on Sunday mornings. It provides excellent exposure for our firm. The program hits timely financial topics for people of all ages, but especially those concerned about retirement. We are also able to archive programs on our website. That is a great marketing tool, allowing prospects and clients to go back and listen to prior programs and select what is of interest to them. It provides valuable educational information and illustrates to our target audience the range of issues we might be able to help them with. We promote the broadcasts through social media, our website, and in our seminars.
Some recent broadcasts include the following topics:
- Retiring in today’s market environment
- Important changes to Social Security regulations and deadlines
- Fixed, indexed, and variable annuities: What is the difference?
- The jobs your assets need to perform
- Making sense of your financial advice options
- The tricks your mind plays on you (when it comes to investing)
