I feel truly blessed for what I have been able to achieve in my personal and professional life. In turn, I want to provide clients with the highest level of education and service—so they can get their entire financial house in order and take care of planning for their future.

Our firm differentiates itself on the range of services we provide to clients, and I think we are unique in that way—certainly in this area. I do not personally know of anyone with everything under one roof the way that we do. When we take care of a client, we take care of the entire client.

We handle property and casualty insurance, Medicare supplements, and long-term care insurance, and can offer any form of life insurance or annuities that makes sense for a client’s needs. We have an estate-planning attorney. We have a tax department that can do everything from business returns to personal returns to estate returns.

Our core practice is financial planning and investment management. There, we offer an endowment model approach that seeks the most appropriate investment asset classes from a wide array of choices. Within this model, we can employ the services of third-party managers who offer the most sophisticated risk-managed strategies.

The problem—and the opportunity—I have found over the years is that most clients have been conditioned to think about financial products in isolation. They know they should have life insurance, contribute to their 401(k), have adequate property and health insurance, and on and on.

Our job is getting all elements of their financial life working together as effectively as possible, in a tax-advantaged way. The tax preparation part of our business model has been an excellent way to introduce our practice to a potential client, and it can often lead to a broader discussion of their financial planning and investment needs.
